Inches away from being America’s Fukushima: Nuclear plant dangerously close to being engulfed by Missouri floods

July 3, 2011 2 comments

“A nuclear plant was inches away from being engulfed by the bloated Missouri River after several levees in the area failed to hold back its surging waters, raising fears it could become America’s Fukushima.” Full article here.

Isn’t is rather disturbing when we can come so close to what would be a truly horrific disaster, with tons and tons of suffering, and yet life for the most part, just seems to continue on as if nothing is happening?

If this nuclear power plant were to flood, the repurcussions of this would effect everyone, not just the local people, just like the Fukushima disaster has had world-wide effects. We live in a closed-system where nothing is actually separate.

For the most part, it seems as though, most of us think this is ‘not my problem’ or that there’s ‘nothing I can do about it anyway’ – it’s just something you hear about on the news, and hope that it gets taken care of, by whoever is supposed to be taking care of such things.

For the most part, none of us even question that we even find ourselves in such a position – don’t even question how such a situation has even come to be. I mean, when we look at even just the most basic factors involved- a nuclear power plant built along a river – or even just a nuclear power plant, regardless where it’s built is insane enough considering the risks which we are fully aware of due to events such as Chernobyl and the catastrophic damage to life that has caused, the extensive cases of a whole variety of monstrous health defects, children born with all kinds of abnormalities, a bloated hospital system desparately trying to, and simply not able to, provide the needed care to all those suffering from that cataclysmic event still to this day.

Faced with the reality of the risks involved of which we’re well aware, why would we even consider to continue using nuclear energy? Well, actually there are many who are not aware. It is not something you see much in the news or learn about in school. And for the most part, our perception of what’s going on in the world, and what is important, is dependent on how and what is presented to us as important — we don’t seem to be able to determine for ourselves what matters — after all, we are generally taught and raised by our parents to believe that only ‘professionals’ or ‘authority figures’ can actually know, see, understand, and thus tell us what is important and what is not. We are not allowed to develop a ability to see for ourselves what is actually important.

Well, that is not entirely true — we are taught to see some things as ‘important’, because it was realized that if you can control what the individual sees as important, you can take advantage of that. Just look at some of the things that’s taught as ‘important’, like for example, ‘entertainment’ is taught as something that is an important and necessary part of one’s life, to make up for and to help one cope with the extensive amount of labor one must do to ‘make a living’ within the current system, and this ‘entertainment’ is even quite specifically defined into specific types of entertainment, all which are linked to a specific consumer market- i.e. movies, video games, alcohol, sports, etc. You’ll notice that, forms of entertainment that do not make money are not advertised. So, through this selective advertising, the human is trained to seek only some forms of entertainment — those which make money — and to ignore everything else.

This way, the human’s attention is ‘channeled’ onto these specific points of seeking entertainment, keeping the human occupied and distracted from what’s going on in the world that’s actually important. Like when power plant is inches away from becoming generations and generations of physical maladies like tumors and brain damage and various forms of real physical suffering.

The human is also taught there is nothing they can do it about- only the ‘professionals’ know what to do and can do anything about it, apparently. This is just another ‘trick’ to keep humans from actually doing anything — as long as they think there is nothing they can do, they won’t be able to do anything. All the various institutions that are currently responsible for disseminating information to the ‘public’, such as the television new stations, news radio, schools and universities, etc.– are businesses within and dependent on the current money system, thus they support the current system, and as such are not going to share information that would ‘threaten’ the current system. They are not going to share with the public how the system operates so that the public could actually be participants in the creation and operation of the system- because if that were the case, most people would not choose to allow the system to continue the way it is now.

Most people would rather not live in a world where so much suffering is allowed to go on, every day, every second. Where children are subjected to needless horrific tortures. Where we must spend the majority of our lives slaving away at some irrelevant job that only serves to make someone rich at the expense of the well-being of life- like nuclear power plants.

This is why at Desteni, we are standing up from within this current system, to say that there is another way, and to expose the massive deception that’s taking place and has been for some time — to show that we do not have to accept the system as it is, and that we can live in and create a world where none have to suffer– we are debunking all the lies and misconceptions that’s been propagated so that we’ll accept the current system as it is, despite it’s deleterious affects on ourselves and our world. Desteni is humanity coming together to say ’till here no further’ will we accept and allow such atrocities to be committed, which only lead to more and more suffering. We are standing up and taking self responsibility to create a new system in which life will be supported, where all will ‘profit’ from our labors — not only a few as in the current system, while the rest toil and suffer the consequences of such an abusive system.

If you are ready to stand up for a world where we can actually Live as who we are, as our Real Expression as Human Beings here on this Earth — where we should be the Custodians of this world — not the destroyers of it — join us at Desteni in bringing about a world where we can live in Dignity and in a way which is Best for All – where none must suffer or experience the horrific consequences of nuclear radiation, where we can consider how to do things in such a way that actually supports life here, and does not destroy the very ecosystem as nature as that which we actually require to live and exist here in the physical.

If you’re ready to participate in something that is Real for once, and not simply a marketed form of entertainment designed to channel your attention into a specific market for someone’s profit to keep you distracted from what really matters here — join us at the forums at the Equal Money website, where we’re busy developing the new system which will support us as life here, to live as how we would have really liked life to be — as a world free from suffering and exploitation, where we can actually have time to enjoy ourselves and express ourselves as physical beings here!

Teen in China sells kidney to buy iPad 2

June 3, 2011 Leave a comment

.

“A TEENAGER in China reportedly sold one of his kidneys for 22,000 yuan (S$4,185) so he could buy an iPad 2.

.

The Global Times said the 17-year-old high school student, identified only as Zheng, had confessed to his mother after she noticed the gadget and a deep red scar on his body, which was from the surgery.” Full article here.

.

Wow. This is the sort of thing that happen in this current system. When you see something like this happen- this is a sign of a a very big problem- where someone actually feels compelled to have surgery and sell an organ from their physical body- in order to have some money to buy things which, for many others, is not so difficult to obtain. Of those who can’t afford it- I’m sure many more simply go without than go to this extreme.

.

Technology should be readily available to everyone- in this current capitalist system it is not so, this system is completely profit-driven, therefore the whole point of our current system is for some to make profits at the expense of others. It’s in this type of abusive system that you’ll see things done like this- people doing horrific things just to get some money- so they can get access to the things that for some is quite easily available, and yet for the majority is just a fantasy- something they can never have.

.

This is not a resource issue, as if you research into manufacturing and how it’s developed and the techniques used, there is so much redundancy in production- and it’s all for the sake of trying to get the most profit, at the expense of everyone and everything else – animals, ecosphere- well-being of life.

.

And once this kid has spent the money then its gone and he doesn’t get his kidney back, and the technology he’s paid a kidney for will be made obsolete in most likely 18 months or less. You see- we’ve decided on a system where value is disposable and transitory- like energy, it here and then it’s gone, here then gone- continuously fluctuating- and thus our lives are constantly fluctuating as well- and there is no stability in life-

.

The majority of us are the ones that do the labor that provide all these goods and products- and from this ‘economic’ system we get our livelihood- and thus our lives are as unstable and unsupported as the stuff we make- that’s made to break.

.

This story of a boy selling his kidney is a perfect metaphor/example for how we have accepted life to be- that we must sacrifice that which is real and stable here and that gives us life here- which is the physical- to the system- a system which only exist as it does because we accept it that way- as if what is here is the only way. And it doesn’t help that what we’re taught in school tells nothing of any of this, or what’s really been going on- and what we could do about it- no, you won’t hear anything about changing the system because there are those who are more than happy to have kids sell their organs so they can make a buck.

.

If you’ve had enough of being sucked dry by this ‘for-profit at the expense of life’ money system- investigate the Equal Money System– Where Equality is considered, such that- no situation will be allowed that all would not Equally stand in. It’s time to give ourselves the system we’ve been waiting for- Equal Money.

Greece Bailout is a FAIL – What is the Solution??

May 13, 2011 1 comment

So it’s been a year since Greece was loaned €100 billion to ‘prop up’ it’s failing economy. And here they are about to default again. Now, the reason they were bailed out is not because of some philanthropist sentiment to help out the people, but rather it is what creditors do in order to continue making money. A creditor who collects money from the debtor that they loaned money to, wants to keep collecting money from them, but if the debtor defaults, then the creditor will not collect any more money from them.

.

So they decide to ‘prop up’ Greece’s economy, so they can continue receiving payments from them, even though it’s quite obvious that the actual economic problems haven’t be solved, and in fact will only worsen and Greece would come to this point of default again, which it now has. Those who make the decision to accept a bailout for the country are those who are going to profit from it, the corporations and CEOs, who get massive bonuses, while the working class faces deep recession and unemployment.

.

It’s basically a giant scam, and those at the top of the pyramid scheme who are profiting from this abusive system, are doing everything in their power to prop up the system and keep it going to make as much as they can as long as they can. Even to the extent of using tactics to turn people against one another to distract them from the real solution, which is that we need a new system. They fund groups to spur uprisings that just incur fighting between people and keep people distracted from what’s really going on. So don’t listen to anything that promotes separation like nationalism and racism, as it’s been planted, and only violence and death will come of that, no real change has ever come from fighting each other or rioting, that’s why we’re still facing these problems today.

.

How much of this do we have to go through before we’ll finally get the point that the system doesn’t work, it’s used to abuse many for the profit of a few, and we can stand up and change this. There is a solution and it’s an Equal Money System. Where there will be no more ‘debt’ and no more of this few people making profits at the expense of the rest of the population.

.

I mean, who are we in debt to? How can debt exist? There is only ourselves to be in debt to, and that doesn’t make any sense. We are all here, and we are all laboring extensively, so why is there such widespread suffering and poor living standards and general dissatisfaction? It’s time we stand up for a new system that will give us Quality of Life so we can actually Enjoy ourselves here! Investigate Equal Money.

$50,000 for Kate Middleton in a Bikini?

April 28, 2011 Leave a comment

.

In an article about Kate Middleton, it’s described how paparazzi make extensive amounts of money for the pictures they get of her-

.

“We took the first-ever pictures of a potential queen of England taking the trash out,” said Owen Beanie of the W Picture Agency. “Those pictures grossed us just over $45,000, and they’re still selling now.” Full article here.

.
$45,000 for a female taking trash out- what kind of a world do we live in where people are starving because they have no money for food, and yet you can make $45,000 for taking pictures of some lady taking out her trash…  A picture of her in a bikini went for $50,000…

.
The only reason these people are even taking these pictures is simply because they want the money. Princess Di apparently died while trying to avoid paparazzi- I mean, this is really ridiculous behaviour- to be following someone around just to take pictures of them to make money. Because people are fascinated with looking at pictures of these people because they think their own lives are boring- but that is just because they don’t have money- it takes money to do anything in this world- thus without money, you can do nothing, and only those that have money will be able to have ‘interesting lives’.

.
Instead of becoming fascinated by those that do have the money, and trying to ignore our own lives- we should stand up for a new system where all are supported to be able to the things they’d really like, so that you don’t have to ‘settle’ for watching other people ‘live’. Investigate Equal Money.

How Can We Have Empty Homes and People Who Are Homeless?

April 19, 2011 1 comment

“There are several counties in America, each with more than 10,000 homes, which have vacancy rates above 55%. The rate is above 60% in several.” Full article here.

.

It really is unbelievably absurd that we have thousands of homes that are sitting vacant, while there are so many homeless. It is equally absurd that we’ve accepted a system in which we have to pay so much just for our basic needs, and many of us don’t have enough.

.

If that isn’t absurd enough, look at what is being done in China in the name of profit as well-

This is totally unnecessary, we can have a system that is not functioning just so that a few can make a profit off the rest.

.

Everyone should have a home. This is common sense. In the Equal Money System, everyone will be able to have a home. Investigate Equal Money.

Bolivia to Grant Nature Equal Rights to Humans – Makes Sense and Here’s Why..

April 11, 2011 1 comment

“Bolivia is set to pass the world’s first laws granting all nature equal rights to humans. The Law of Mother Earth, now agreed by politicians and grassroots social groups, redefines the country’s rich mineral deposits as “blessings” and is expected to lead to radical new conservation and social measures to reduce pollution and control industry.” Full story here.

.

Indeed these things should be given equal rights, because we need these things to survive, to live here in this physical reality. Thus, these things are quite literally equal to us, because without them we will not exist.
.Perhaps some of the resistance from those who would be against this idea, comes from a fear that if everything were given the same rights as some humans currently have, that this will place those things ‘above us’, because we currently place ourselves ‘above’ those things.

.

Quite a sad state of affairs, when humans disregard the very things that the human requires to live here, as if somehow indeed the human is ‘above’ the very things it cannot live without..

.
To have these things be equal to us makes total sense, for example, the food you eat is what you use to sustain your physical body and if your food is given equal rights to you, then you know that that food will be the best quality food and therefore your body will get the best quality nourishment. Thus, to give everything equal rights, is a direct benefit to you, in every possible way, as it ensures the things you need will be here and be cared for, and thus that you will be cared for.

.
The Equal Money System is being created for just this purpose- it is a system in which all life will be given value so that we can all live in a world of eQuality.

How Do We Respond to the Situation in Japan?

March 30, 2011 1 comment

.

I was reading some posts at the end of an article that included some emails exchanged between some workers at the damaged power plants in Japan, and when I read this comment posted in response to the article, I realized something very unfortunate:

.

“No country, America included, has the right to swoop in and take over when there is a disaster and the Japanese want to protect their security and their sense that they are in charge of and looking after their own country (as would any country that was suffering what it is suffering).” See full article here.

.

It’s unfortunate that our relationships (as nations) aren’t such that we Could just swoop in and help each other out. For example, if you saw someone fall off their bike, would you ‘swoop in’ to help them? I mean, to a large extent we are not like that on an individual level, and this is reflected on the large scale, where, as nations, it’s each nation ‘out for itself’.

.

I see a world where we can all work together and support each other is possible- though we are yet a long way off from being at that point, where we have actually established trust with each other, and can actually, for once, move as a group, in unity- I see that it is possible- and I see this because I have been transforming myself in my own relationships with others, to consider myself as equal to others, and consider what’s best for everyone equally- and if it’s possible on the individual level to develop real relationships and establish and build trust, then obviously it is possible on the large scale- it’s just a matter of each one of us standing up and taking self responsibility for how we live in this world and in our relationships with each other.

.

It’s not hard to see what kind of a world we could live in, what kind of life we could have, if we all consider what’s best for all, and stop living in fear and competition with each other. It’d be a World that’s a Trillion times better than what it is now. Where we could immediately take care of disasters and do whatever needs to be done to assist each other and make sure none are suffering. What happened in the aftermath of Katrina, for example- such atrocity would simply not happen.

.

.

How much more suffering do we need to go through, before we will finally realize the common sense to stand up and change ourselves, and change this world.

.

If you see the common sense and are ready to live in a world as equals that do not need to compete and struggle and fight to survive- support the Equal Money System.
