How Do We Respond to the Situation in Japan?

March 30, 2011 1 comment

.

I was reading some posts at the end of an article that included some emails exchanged between some workers at the damaged power plants in Japan, and when I read this comment posted in response to the article, I realized something very unfortunate:

.

“No country, America included, has the right to swoop in and take over when there is a disaster and the Japanese want to protect their security and their sense that they are in charge of and looking after their own country (as would any country that was suffering what it is suffering).” See full article here.

.

It’s unfortunate that our relationships (as nations) aren’t such that we Could just swoop in and help each other out. For example, if you saw someone fall off their bike, would you ‘swoop in’ to help them? I mean, to a large extent we are not like that on an individual level, and this is reflected on the large scale, where, as nations, it’s each nation ‘out for itself’.

.

I see a world where we can all work together and support each other is possible- though we are yet a long way off from being at that point, where we have actually established trust with each other, and can actually, for once, move as a group, in unity- I see that it is possible- and I see this because I have been transforming myself in my own relationships with others, to consider myself as equal to others, and consider what’s best for everyone equally- and if it’s possible on the individual level to develop real relationships and establish and build trust, then obviously it is possible on the large scale- it’s just a matter of each one of us standing up and taking self responsibility for how we live in this world and in our relationships with each other.

.

It’s not hard to see what kind of a world we could live in, what kind of life we could have, if we all consider what’s best for all, and stop living in fear and competition with each other. It’d be a World that’s a Trillion times better than what it is now. Where we could immediately take care of disasters and do whatever needs to be done to assist each other and make sure none are suffering. What happened in the aftermath of Katrina, for example- such atrocity would simply not happen.

.

.

How much more suffering do we need to go through, before we will finally realize the common sense to stand up and change ourselves, and change this world.

.

If you see the common sense and are ready to live in a world as equals that do not need to compete and struggle and fight to survive- support the Equal Money System.

Radiation Detected on the West Coast- What To DO??

March 23, 2011 Leave a comment

.

.

Radiation from Japan has been detected on the West Coast of the United States. At this point, the UN is claiming that the levels of radiation are far below dangerous levels. However, since the World Health Organization and the International Atomic Energy Agency have had a long-standing relationship, I would think twice before trusting the UN on anything they have to say about nuclear energy. Here’s a quote from an article written by Oliver Tickell from The Guardian in 2009:

.

“Fifty years ago, on 28 May 1959, the World Health Organisation’s assembly voted into force an obscure but important agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency – the United Nations “Atoms for Peace” organisation, founded just two years before in 1957. The effect of this agreement has been to give the IAEA an effective veto on any actions by the WHO that relate in any way to nuclear power – and so prevent the WHO from playing its proper role in investigating and warning of the dangers of nuclear radiation on human health.” Read the full article here.

.

So you see, what happens in this world, happens to us all. It doesn’t matter if it happens in Japan or the Gulf of Mexico- we live in a closed system- the effects, the outflows and consequences, reach us all eventually- thus it’s in our best interest to consider what is going on this world, in all parts.

.

We need to come together as a group and work together on these points. For so long we have been separated from each other, fighting each other, killing each other, harming each other, really we have done everything horrible you can imagine.

.

And now we suffer the consequences which are growing everyday and will continue to do so until we actually stand up and have a look at what we’re doing, and consider the consequences- realize how we are abusing each other, so that we can finally stop. How many are going to suffer horrifically from this radiation? How many are suffering from any number of vicious problems that are happening in this world, constantly.

..

It’s time we stand up and stop this. It is not beyond us, it is not ‘too difficult’ it is not ‘impossible’ to stop- of course it’s not- because we are the ones doing it- it’s simply a matter of just stopping.

.

How bad do things have to get before we’ll consider just what it is we’re doing here, and just what matters? Let’s not let it become too late.

.

.

The first thing we can do is implement an Equal Money System- this will ‘free us up’ from the ‘survival game’ so that we can actually slow down and get out of the ‘rat race’ and actually have the time to consider things. Like using nuclear power, for example- it’s probably something we should’ve never used, but we bought it because we wanted more power, and ‘they told us’ it was safe and they told us it’s an improvement and will make your life better, they sold it to our self interest and the human bought it. And now look at Japan, and remember Chernobyl..

.

Why is it we haven’t developed any safer method of energy? Does it have anything to do with that the Electric Utilities is in the top third industry for highest total amount of money spent on lobbying from 1998 to 2010, for a whopping total of $1,417,601,382? In 2010 alone, $191,304,085 was spent on lobbying.

.

So, how much do you have to lobby for an alternative? Yeah…

.

This is exactly why we need an Equal Money System- so that our system can no longer be controlled and dictated only by those with the money, which is of course the ones who own the businesses, and therefore, are going to use that money to support their businesses! Not You or Me or Life period. That’s why and how the world’s resources are being consumed faster than can be regenerated (which by the way we need those resources to be able to live, otherwise we DIE).

.

.

So for those of you who’d like to Live, and Live in a world where we can consider common sense what’s best for Life- Support an Equal Money System. Stand Up and Speak Out! Be the Change you want to see in this World- it won’t happen any other way, and when you are at the end of your life-

.

-will you look back and see that you did everything you could to leave this world better than you found it?

Help Japan- Don’t Donate to Capitalism- Support an Equal Money System

March 16, 2011 Leave a comment

You know, it’s in the face of violent natural disasters, that we get a unique opportunity to really see who we are- To see just who we are in the wake of such a disaster, how do we react, how do we respond, when nature strikes a devastating blow? Perhaps we should ‘make the most’ of a tragedy, and see what we can learn about ourselves in our reaction to the situation that’s going on in Japan.

People living near the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant have been evacuated from their homes due to the risk of radiation leaks. However, despite the risk of radiation contamination, some 180 plant workers have remained behind, to continue to try to keep the plant from having a meltdown.

They are being referred to as heroes, as the radiation levels they are likely being exposed to are extreme. And while these workers are possibly sacrificing their lives, all we are doing is saying ‘how brave’. This is the extent to which we simply don’t give a fuck. That this kind of situation was even possible to happen in the first place.

This situation never needed to happen in the first place, and the least we can do is ensure that this never happens to anyone else again. When we have an Equal Money System in place, we will be able to fully explore alternatives, but perhaps even more dramatic than that, we’ll be able to cut down significantly on how much energy we require, thus we won’t be tempted to put in nuclear plants because we’re trying to get the most we can just to try and keep up with the demand of the Capitalist system, which sucks the life out of the planet and everyone and everything on it with total disregard for Life whatsoever. And in an Equal Money System, we will have to make jobs as safe as we possibly can, otherwise no one will do them, because we won’t be forced to do jobs that are hazardous to our health just to make a living and maybe be able to survive and breathe another day in this world.

In an Equal Money System, we’ll be able to prevent these kind of tragedies, and we won’t be simply watching this happen to people on a TV screen, and just calling them heroes…

Those who try to buy away their Responsibility and Guilt by donating money supposedly to Japan, within this current monetary system, no that you are doing nothing to help, and in fact are only adding to to the problem, by supporting the current system in which things like this happen. It’s Time for a New System which Considers Life, you want to Help Japan-  Support Equal Money.

Libyan Rebels Being Obliterated- What Should the US Do?

March 13, 2011 Leave a comment

Much debate lately in the news about whether the U.S. should take action in the situation in Libya, and what that action should be.

There is arguments that we simply must do something to stop the Libyan rebels from being slaughtered by the generally much more militarily equipped, armed and trained soldiers and mercenaries fighting for Gaddafi.

Here, we can see just what the rebels are up against- Money. If you have a look at how much money it takes to have and operate an army- it’s quite extensive and can’t be done without it.

It takes money to convince us to take up arms and stand against one another. And this is only possible if there is not access to sufficient money in some other way.

In an Equal Money System, it will be much more difficult to raise an army to protect one’s self-interest. No one will need the money that badly.

Military involvement is really irrelevant in terms of an actual solution. We need an Equal Money System for All Humanity, and that is our priority- anything less is simply allowing abuse to continue while we should be working on a solution.

Here in the U.S. we have a governmental structure that is set up in such a way that it will actually be not difficult to bring about an Equal Money System, and we can serve as an example to the rest of the world.

Ironically, the U.S. has been apparently attempting to serve as an example of Democracy in the world, yet invading countries is not exactly a democratic maneuver, and is downright hypocritical, when the U.S. has not even found a way to support itself effectively- with a crumbling economy where people are losing their homes and more and more are turning to welfare and unemployment because they are not supported by the system.

Thus, if the ‘U.S’ really wants to see change in the world, then the ‘U.S’ must become that change, one and equal. And that means we must change on the individual level, because the U.S. is simply the reflection of all the individuals that make it up.

Pedo-feel-ya in the Church, yet Again

March 9, 2011 Leave a comment

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has put 21 priests on administrative leave due to allegations of Pedophilia.

This is in reaction to a report from the Philadelphia grand jury on Feb 10th, that found that 37 priests who are accused or suspected of behaving inappropriately with minors were serving in the ministry.

Cardinal Justin Rigali said in a statement, “I know that for many people their trust in the Church has been shaken.”

Clearly there should be no trust placed in the Church whatsoever, if they can claim to be of God and yet this kind of thing can happen- Obviously the Church is not some ‘Holy’ thing after all. The jig is up. Has been for some Time. Don’t be the Last to Get It.

Pirate Abductions and How to Avoid Them

March 4, 2011 Leave a comment

A Danish family was recently picked up by pirates and are being held for ransom. The family, which is a man and wife and their three children, were on a sailing trip journeying ‘around the world’. They knew they were sailing into pirate-infested waters but apparently were confident they could deal with pirates.

They should have waited to take such a trip, until after an Equal Money System has been established, so that there would no longer be any pirates, and they would not be in the situation they are in now.

This is a perfect example of why to get busy with bringing about an Equality-based system now- because in this current system even if you are one of the elite that’s supported by the system, you must live in this world with all those that’s Not. With those that have gone to such a point as becoming pirates and taking hostages for ransoms to try to make money.

In an Equal Money System, not only will we ALL live like Millionaires, but therefore all crimes that are money-based, which is the vast majority of crimes in this world, will simply stop, and you will not have to worry about, or like this family, experience the horror of being taken by pirates and held for ransom.

Four Americans were taken hostage just before this particular incident, and they were all killed.

These couple incidents is just a ‘drop-in-the-bucket’ of those who’s been abused or killed in this current system- it’s absolutely Unacceptable and totally Unnecessary – an Equal Money System will End this.

Anti-Abortionists Don’t Actually Care About Life

March 3, 2011 Leave a comment

Wow, I just read an article about a religious group that wants to use a fetus to ‘testify’ in court, meaning actually to share the heartbeat of a fetus in court, in support of a bill that would make abortion illegal if there is a detectable heartbeat which can be as early in a pregnancy as 18 days. The so-called “Heartbeat bill” is not likely to be passed.

I have seen protesters in my local area, standing outside the local Bryn Mawr hospital, usually just two or three people, standing there holding signs, not realizing the futility of their protests to actually have any sort of effect on what they are protesting against. Protesting abortion is no way to stop abortions. Yet another example of how we want to change something by ‘Force’ which will not produce Lasting or Effective change. Because to have Real Actual Change, the actual cause of the problem must be considered and you must stop that cause to stop the problem, because obviously, if you don’t stop the cause, it’s going to keep happening, and if you’re trying to use force to stop it, you will need to continuously, infinitely apply that force. Thus, force is not an actual, sustainable Solution.

Therefore it’s absolutely a waste of time to stand around with some signs as obviously, that does ‘fuck-all’ to address the Cause of why people are choosing to have abortions. Thus those who stand there all day holding signs and spreading some ‘message’ of ‘stop abortions’, are actually not doing anything that’s going to actually stop abortions from happening.

And these Religious fanatics that’s opposing abortion because apparently they ‘care’ about life – if they actually care about life they will be working toward ending suffering of those that’s already alive and suffering, and working toward creating a world that is worth children to be born into, bringing forth a system in which life will be supported and thus no one will choose abortion because they cant afford a child or know the child has no chance for a dignified life. That is the Real solution, thus those that want to stop abortion – if that is what you really want, then you will support an Equal Money System.
